Meet the team
Andrew Nguyen, CPA
Founder & Principal
I started Eastlake CPA after spending years as a corporate accountant in investment management and elective healthcare, industries where precision isn't negotiable. When your financials feed into audits, regulatory filings, and investor reports, they have to be right. That level of rigor changed how I think about accounting: when your numbers are solid, everything else gets easier.
Before my corporate years, I ran a small web design agency, so I understand what it’s like juggling sales, marketing, client work, and operations while bookkeeping keeps getting pushed to the bottom of the list. Not because you don’t care, but because everything else demands your attention. You want someone who understands that pressure and can step in without adding to the chaos.
My goal is simple: help small business owners get the same level of financial accuracy and confidence that larger companies have, tailored to where you are now. Whether it's cleaning up your books, setting up better systems, or having someone in your corner who knows what they're doing.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me out with my camera exploring the Pacific Northwest and hunting for the perfect shot.

Indri Halstad, MBA
Accounting Manager
I have over 18 years of accounting experience across real estate, technology, and healthcare. My background spans full-cycle accounting, including general ledger ownership, month-end close, financial reporting, and the operational processes that keep a business running smoothly. I’ve supported organizations through periods of growth, system changes, and increasing complexity, giving me the range to handle both everyday bookkeeping and more advanced financial needs.
With an MBA in Finance, I naturally focus on building better processes and smoothing out the parts of accounting that slow people down. I like bringing structure to messy areas and making the financial side feel manageable for the teams I support.
People often tell me I bring a warm, upbeat energy to the room. I take the work seriously, but I enjoy making the experience feel lighter and less stressful for the people around me. I want clients to feel supported, not intimidated by their numbers.
Outside of work, I love experimenting in the kitchen and sharing whatever I come up with, whether it’s a hit or a learning experience.
